Spring break season is here and that means Orlando International Airport is very busy right now. West Haley Rumble home is joining us live from the airport with how today ranks among the busiest days of the season. What's going on out there? Haley Well, it's looking pretty busy today. This is just one of the bank drop lines. It completely snakes around that corner and it just keeps snaking around through this section of the airport. Now, today is expected to be the fourth busiest day here at the Orlando Airport with more than 171. 1000 travelers at the fourth busiest day of the spring break season. There was this long line at this bag drop lane. It does seem to be moving at *** pretty decent clip. Now from March 4th to April 18th, the Orlando Airport is expecting 7.3 million passengers according to *** Florida is the top domestic travel destination this spring. But *** lot of Floridians are planning on traveling too. They say 40% are planning *** spring break vacation today. The airport is looking busy. We noted *** handful of delays and cancellations on the airport's website after seeing the line at one of the bag-drop locations, some travelers were concerned they'd have another travel headache on their hands. Like, oh, here we go again. I hope not but it's moving good. So I shouldn't complain. The airport is encouraging passengers to give themselves plenty of time to park, check their bags and get through security. Now, tomorrow is expected to be busy too, the ninth busiest travel day for the spring break season here and the busiest day, they're expecting to be March 25th live at the Orlando airport. Saturday was expected to be the fourth busiest of the spring break season, according to the Orlando Airport, with more than 171,000 travelers.Getting to the airport early seems to be the way to go. Several travelers told WESH they arrived three to four hours early. From March 4 to April 18, Orlando International is expecting 7.3 million passengers according to the airport. They're expecting a million more travelers this spring break season than last. For some early arrivers at the airport, hotel shuttle times left them with plenty of time to get to their gate. "They make you come three hours early," Katherine Singleton said. "And then our flight got delayed an hour so we ended up really early so we're fine."But for Dawn Walker, it was an early warning from family members had her getting to the airport early. "The line," Walker said. "Half our family left earlier, and they already said it was a mess. So we returned the car two hours early and we're here four hours early."Phillip Tibbetts, from Kansas City, said past issues at the airport had him arriving early. "We had a lot of people coming in and out during the holidays and every time they'd come back home they'd sit here for three, four hours," he said. "So it's like better get in early."When he got to the airport he had concerns about a lengthy luggage drop line. "I thought of when we were going to Nevada for Christmas," Tibbetts said. "And our flight just up and disappeared no nothing. I was like, oh, are we going to do this again?"But it moved quicker than he thought. "It's moving good, so I shouldn't complain," he said. Sunday is expected to be another busy day, with the airport expecting it to be their ninth busiest of the spring break season. They're predicting March 25 to be the busiest.
