Visit Orlando brought Orlando to Mexico City during the popular Outlet Viaja y Vuela consumer travel show. Attendees took a virtual ride through #Orlando on our traveling roller coaster, immersing them in our many attractions and experiences, only found in Orlando. Visit Orlando partnered with online travel agency PriceTravel Holding, which had dedicated travel agents located next to the roller coaster activation to assist with booking exclusive Orlando offers. Overall, Orlando was PriceTravel’s top-selling international destination at the event.

Visit Orlando conducted 200+ appointments with key travel clients, met with 50+ media and shared the latest destination news at a media breakfast event for 300+ media attendees at U.S. Travel Association's IPW— the country’s largest travel trade show promoting international travel to the U.S. At IPW, we announced #Orlando welcomed a record-breaking 6.13 million international visitors in 2023 and promoted the entirety of Orlando’s diverse offerings to audiences from around the world, including beyond-the-park experiences, theme parks and attractions, the arts and culture scene and award-winning, diverse and evolving culinary community. Orlando-based musicians Live Hart and EK Collective performed at the media breakfast and a client event, hosted in partnership with Experience Kissimmee, that included over 200 key clients from key markets around the world. Overall, IPW brought together 5,700 attendees, including 2,000 international buyers and media from nearly 70 countries.

Just in! Orlando was named the Top Meeting Destination in North America by Cvent, the industry-leading meetings, events, and hospitality technology provider. This is the ninth time Orlando has been recognized by Cvent as the #1 meetings destination in the country. The globally recognized Cvent Top Meeting Destinations lists evaluate and rank cities that are successfully engaging event planners and attracting group business. Rankings are determined based on sourcing activity through the Cvent Supplier Network, one of the world’s largest venue-sourcing platforms. Breaking news! 📢 Orlando welcomed 6.13 million international visitors in 2023, an increase of 25% over 2022 numbers. Canada remains Orlando’s top international market, with more than 1.2 million visitors traveling to Orlando in 2023, the highest number from this market in Orlando’s history. We unveiled the news today to more than 300 international media attending US Travel Associations IPW, the US's largest travel industry trade show. Our team pitched a variety of story ideas around what’s new, award-winning dining, outdoor activities, our growing sports destination and unique Orlando neighborhoods. Events included a media brunch and baseball game night between the Marlins vs. Yankees at Yankee Stadium.

Visit Orlando and the Orlando Economic Partnership, in collaboration with the City of Orlando and Orange County Government, received a Golden Brick award for the #407Day “Unbelievably Real” mural project at Downtown Orlando Partnership’s Golden Eagle Awards. The event celebrates the people, projects and initiatives that are propelling the City Beautiful forward.
