Orange County Convention Center parking lot to become drive-thru testing location
The Orange County Convention Center will be working with the Florida Department of Emergency Management and the Federal Emergency Management Agency to use its parking lot as a drive-thru testing site for coronavirus.The convention center committed Monday to using the Destination Flat Parking Lot as a site for the Central Florida region.Officials said all testing will happen outside and will be facilitated by the Florida Department of Health.This will not impact business operations.Officials believe testing will begin next week and could last around two weeks.
