SeaWorld Orlando is putting a new spin on old-school entertainment. The theme park will launch a three-night drive-in movie event in its parking lot that is preceded by a fireworks show, beginning July 10.

Tickets to “Flicks & Fireworks” will cost $50 per carload of people, starting with “Shark Tale” on Friday. There’s a 20 percent discount for SeaWorld annual passholders. Admission to the theme park is not included.

The event will also feature local food trucks with items for sale starting at 7:45 p.m. The fireworks will begin at 9 p.m., and the movie will cap off the evening.

The movie lineup after “Shark Tale” will be “A Dog’s Purpose” on Saturday night and “The Karate Kid” on Sunday. All three films are rated PG.

The films will be watched from inside vehicles, and face coverings will be required when visitors are not in their cars, SeaWorld says.
