Orange County and Visit Orlando are bringing back their #407Day initiative on Wednesday, April 7 in an attempt to encourage people to support local businesses.

The campaign, a nod to a local area code, encourages Central Florida residents to dine-in or order takeout/delivery from their favorite local restaurants and then post about it on their social media channels – obviously, they’d prefer if you used their hashtag #407Day while you were doing it too.

Many local businesses are also hosting specials and giveaways on the 7th to woo in those local dollars, like this special collab by Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream and Gideon’s Bakehouse that Orlando Sentinel’s Amy Drew Thompson just wrote about.
