Pricing, sample itinerary revealed for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser

Star Wars fans, wonder no longer: Disney has finally shared what guests can expect to pay when visiting Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser when it opens in spring 2022.

According to the official website for the resort, rates can vary depending on your “voyage departure date,” as well as the number of guests in your cabin and cabin type. With only 100 cabins and suites onboard, it’s likely that, at least at first, stays will go fast and scarcity will be the name of the game.

Sample Pricing

Here’s a breakdown of the example pricing for a standard cabin, which applies for voyage departure dates on most weeknights from Aug. 20, 2022 through Sept. 17, 2022:

• Two (2) guests per cabin – $1,209 per guest/night or $4,809 total
• Three (3) guests per cabin (2 adults, 1 child) – $889 per guest/night or $5,299 total
• Four (4) guests per cabin (3 adults, 1 child) – $749 per guest/night or $5,999 total

Each vacation package for the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser includes the following:

• A 2-night stay in a cabin or suite
• “Ongoing, immersive and interactive entertainment, where your choices determine your experience,” with certain experiences being fulfilled by the Play Disney Parks mobile app.
• Food and beverages on the starcruiser (not including alcoholic and specialty beverages) and a quick-service meal at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo or other select locations at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
• Admission to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for a planetary excursion to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
• Valet parking
• Exclusive Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser “databand,” otherwise known as a MagicBand

Room Types

Standard Cabin

Each Standard Cabin sleeps four to five passengers and includes a queen bed; two berths (bunk beds) that fit one adult each; a wall pull-down bed for one adult (if sleeping five); a mini fridge; hair dryer; in-cabin safe; a phone with voicemail messaging; interactive TV; and H20 Plus spa, bath and shower products. There’s also one window in the cabin that offers a view out into space.

Galaxy Class Suite

The one-bedroom Galaxy Class Suites offer a living space with a seating area alongside the amenities of Standard Cabins, plus a double vanity bathroom, bar area, and two windows out into space — plus a few other Star Wars surprises. These suites sleep four passengers and include a queen bed and two wall pull-down beds that fit one adult each. Other amenities include a mini fridge; hair dryer; in-cabin safe; phone with voicemail messaging; interactive TV; and H20 Plus spa, bath and shower products.

Grand Captain Suite

The two-bedroom Grand Captain’s Suites feature a “posh living space” with an integrated seating area, as well as all the offerings of Standard Cabins plus a main suite with a double vanity bathroom, a second bathroom with a single vanity, a bar area, three windows with views into space, and other surprises. These suites sleep eight passengers and include two queen beds, two berths for one adult each, and two wall pull-down beds for one adult each. Other amenities include a mini fridge; a hair dryer; in-cabin safe; phone with voicemail messaging; interactive TV; and H20 Plus spa, bath and shower products.

Experience Highlights

Be a part of the story

Guests will be able to “step into their own Star Wars story” aboard the starcruiser, with a variety of planned and surprise encounters, experiences, and missions that await. Guests will encounter characters that could lead them on exciting adventures and missions, or get invited to secret meetings and receive new communications from the crew via their Star Wars: Datapad on the Play Disney Parks app.

Lightsaber Training

One of the scheduled offerings will be Lightsaber Training, in which guests ages 7 and up can wield a lightsaber and face off against a remote training device as they put their skills to the test.

Bridge Training

During Bridge Training, guests can explore the working bridge of the Halcyon starcruiser and learn how it functions straight from the crew in a hands-on experience. The crew will teach guests how the navigation, power, defense and other systems keep the starcruiser safe — and you never know when these skills could come in handy.

Planet excursion to Batuu

Board a transport ship to Black Spire Outpost on Batuu and continue your adventure on the remote planet. Your missions throughout Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, including Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, will have an effect on your experience back on the ship.

Relax in the Sublight Lounge

Order a beverage, sit back and unwind in the Sublight Lounge. Just relax and take in the surroundings, or wager a few credits at the gaming table as you play a hand of holo-Sabacc.

Dining aboard the Halcyon

Dinner

On the first night of your stay, the Crown of Corellia Dining Room will transform for dinner into a table-service supper club, complete with a special musical appearance by a galactic superstar.

The second night, The Taste Around the Galaxy will offer courses inspired by the geography and environments of destination planets throughout the galaxy. Each course will include a short introduction that includes the name, inspiration, and ingredients for the dishes. The meal includes group appetizers for the table, a choice of entrée and a specialty plated dessert.

Guests can indicate their preference for first or second dinner seating (based on availability) when booking a vacation package.

Breakfast and Lunch

Breakfast and lunch will also be available in the Crown of Corellia Dining Room, featuring both galactic fare and familiar favorites from your home planet.

Breakfast will include a variety of hot and cold small plates and beverages, including juices, fresh brewed coffee, and Bubo Wamba Family Farms blue milk. For lunch, guests can choose from small bites like sandwiches, soups, mini flatbreads, assorted salads, and sweets.

Dining during your planet excursion

During the planet excursion to Batuu, guests can enjoy a quick-service meal at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, or other select dining locations at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Captain’s Table

For an additional fee, arrange to sit at the captain’s table for a memorable dinner experience, complete with extra courses — the captain’s “favorite dishes” — while seated in the center of the Crown of Corellia Dining Room.

According to Disney, the specifics of each voyage will be “unique to your story” and the choices you make. As a result, ” unexpected Story Moments” with characters and special invitations can occur to move your story forward. Here’s a look at a sample itinerary, which features some of these moments:

Voyage Attire

While on the starcruiser, guests will be encouraged to wear their galactic best. Star Wars galaxy apparel can be purchase in advance from shopDisney or in person while on the ship; themed costumes are not included in the cost of a vacation package. However, if you’re most comfortable in the apparel from your “home planet,” that’s acceptable too.

No matter what you decide to wear, guests are also encouraged to save their finest for the “traditional end-of-cruise gala celebration” prior to departure.
