ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Disney World offers tours and experiences that give visitors a glimpse at what goes on behind-the-scenes. And the resort has announced that three more tours will again be offered to visitors.

What You Need To Know

  • Three popular behind-the-scenes experiences are returning to EPCOT

  • Behind the Seeds, DiveQuest and Dolphins in Depth will return Oct. 2

  • Each tour has an additional cost or specific requirements

The Behind the Seeds tour, the EPCOT Seas Adventures-DiveQuest and Dolphins in Depth tours — all part of the Enchanting Extras Collection — will return to EPCOT on Oct. 2, Disney announced Tuesday.

With Behind the Seeds, visitors learn about agriculture during a one-hour walking tour of the greenhouses at The Land Pavilion. The tour costs $35 per person, and a valid theme park reservation for EPCOT along with valid park admission are required.

For those who want an underwater tour, Disney is offering the EPCOT Seas Adventures-DiveQuest. Visitors will get to go inside the park's 5.7 million-gallon saltwater aquarium and learn about marine life and coral at The Seas with Nemo & Friends Pavilion. Visitors will be required to have SCUBA certification for this experience, which costs $219 per person.

Another behind-the-scenes experience returning to EPCOT is Dolphins in Depth, where visitors can learn about bottlenose dolphins and even get an up-close interaction with them. The tour is priced at $199 per person.

Disney recommends the tours be booked in advance due to their popularity. The tours will go on sale Aug. 22, and can be booked at disneyworld.com or through the My Disney Experience mobile app.

The tours, which return in time for EPCOT’s 40th anniversary, join the previously announced lineup of tours that have returned to Disney World. Earlier this year, a few guided tours returned to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, including Caring for Giants and the Wild Africa Trek.

At Magic Kingdom, the five-hour tour Keys to the Kingdom returned as well.
